The heart thread of each retreat is Silence & Meditation.

Silence allows for the quieter inner needs to have space to be heard.  We invite silence to empty the mental body, allowing personal narratives a place to have reflection, dialogue, and release. Silence offers a safe unified space to be in community as we stay connected to self, yet in the field of the other. Silence challenges us to know each other in a symbiotic and energetically attuned way. Each day we have intentional silence from 9PM to 11 AM as the transitory states of consciousness of sleep and waking are often full of messages and jewels for self-awareness. We honor each individuals need for silence, knowing how precious solitude is for the renewal, healing, and access to our Lunar self. The Lunar self is the sleeping mind at work as it dreams us and the waking mind that is in right-brain imagination and creative state.

Meditation is the intensional meeting ground or the structure that offers us access to the vastness of our inner clarity and light.  Most all of our meditations are outside in Nature.We immerse ourselves in the Natural world from the seat of a practitioner, yogi, monk, shaman, intuitive, artist, healer, priestess, vessel, cosmonaut...all carry the bigger view of how we approach our potentiality. Grounding into the field of inherent Natural awareness we get to relax and play.  Meditation thus becomes a playful, expansive, clear, surrender to the wisdom of Being. You do not have to have any experience with structured meditation to participate in the ease of Being. We meditate using different pathways into the Self: mantra, yoga, visualization practices, breath work, prostrations, and contemplative movement practices.
